Meet the BAND
From its genesis as drummer Marc Martinka’s backing band in 2015 to its established, self-assured present, the self-proclaimed rock and roll collective brings a fresh, energetic twist to the classic roots-rock sound. Fans of artists like The Rolling Stones, Alabama Shakes, and The Buckle Downs will find plenty to love in Cisco Kid.
Core Members include Marc Martinka (percussion), Brian Swed (guitar), Jojo Gustafson (keys/guitar), Marty Connolly (bass), and Addi Twigg (vocals). But the group’s sound wouldn’t be complete without special players like Sarah Siplak, Natalee Smith, Read Connolly, James Hart, Randall Baumann, Erika June, Kiki Brown Sherman, and countless others. Cisco Kid embraces collaboration with artists who bring their own unique contribution to the mix, both live and in the studio.

FRONT WOMAN
Addi learned to sing in church and school choirs. She started in the Pittsburgh scene in 2013 with pop-soul band The Telephone Line and joined Cisco Kid in 2018. Addi thrives in collaboration with artists from different backgrounds and loves experimenting with a variety of genres.

BASS
Marty joined the crew in the Coronado days and got recruited for Marc’s River Rat project. He has since landed firmly in Cisco Kid.

Marc is a total music junkie and has been playing drums since the young age of two. He also plays a vital role in Cisco Kid’s songwriting and recording production.

KEYS + GUITAR
Jojo has played a variety of instruments since childhood but got serious about playing keyboards when he formed The Telephone Line with Addi in 2013. He’s been seen plucking banjos and strumming punk rock power chords on various Pittsburgh stages. The newest member of Cisco Kid, he started as a substitute in 2022 and has since become a permanent member of the band.

GUITAR
Brian got his first guitar in 3rd grade, but started picking up the instrument every day when he discovered 70's rock in high school. His first band experience was playing covers with friends at house parties. Wanting to play original music, he joined his first "real" band Coronado, where he was introduced to the Pittsburgh music scene and played with the musicians who would later become Cisco Kid.
